CONTRACT NEWS: A Tentative Agreement has been reached as of 7:45pm Oct. 28, 2011. More info to follow as it becomes available.

ATTENTION: Our Contract ends tomorrow at 11:59pm (Oct. 28th, 2011). There was a meeting tonight for union reps at 4pm. We were informed that there will be NO MORE extensions. Precautionary measures were taken today to set up schedules for a strike IF NEED BE. Talks are STILL ONGOING and PROGRESSING at this time. You are to still report to your job as scheduled. If a strike does occur a union rep will lead you out of the plant if you happen to be working or you will be called for strike duty. We are still optimistic in coming to an agreement. More info will be posted as it develops....Thank You.

Dear Brothers and Sisters. Our current contract that is under extention and is set to expire tonight at 11:59pm will be extended again until FRIDAY OCTOBER 28th at 11:59pm. The current shop flyer wil be handed to you at work and will be uploaded to this site tomorrow for viewing. Thank you.

NOTICE: (TIME CHANGE) The Strike Vote scheduled for Aug. 14 is now open from 5pm until the end of the meeting. This vote DOES NOT mean we are going on strike. It is just the first step in going into negotiations and gives the bargaining committee the approval of the membership to strike if need be.

Secretary of State approves referendum on SB 5: More than 900,000 petition signatures are certified.
The referendum on Senate Bill 5 will appear on the Nov. 8 ballot!
Secretary of State Jon Husted certified 915,456 valid signatures collected to repeal Senate Bill 5. The next step is for the Ohio Ballot Board to approve language for the ballot issue. The five-member board is chaired by Husted.
